"Reliable courier, no hassle :)"
I used musicMagpie to send off a few old DVDs and a phone, and it was all straightforward. The courier arrived within the time slot and scanned the parcel right away, so there was no hanging around or confusion :) Tracking updated fine as well. The only downside was the collection window was quite wide, so I had to stay in for most of the morning. Other than that, everything went smoothly!

I sent my old phone in and thought I’d be waiting a good few days for the testing part. The update came through much faster than I expected, and the payment followed soon after. The whole thing was really easy with no messing about at all. I’d definitely use musicMagpie again.

The promo code is basically what made this order feel like a decent deal. Without it, the prices were average, which was a bit annoying. Checkout was simple enough, so no complaints there. I’d probably use them again, but only if there’s another good offer available.

I had to return something it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The label was simple to sort out. Refund came through after a few days too. Not the fastest ever, but no real hassle

I bought a used phone and ended up needing to use the warranty a few months later. To be fair, they did get it sorted in the end, so I can’t say it was a bad experience overall. But the replies were slow, and I had to keep following up, which got a bit tiring after a while. It was okay, just one of those customer service processes that feels like more effort than it should be.

"Not as eco-friendly as I expected"
I used musicMagpie because I thought it would be a more eco-friendly option, but the packaging and postage felt wasteful. It didn’t really come across as that green in the end, which was disappointing. I’d expected better, and I do think some kind of gesture or compensation would be fair given it wasn’t the experience I thought I was paying for.

I’ve used musicMagpie a few times now and, i was a little nervous at first because you never really know with these things. But each time they’ve been clear with the prices and the payments have come through like they said they would. So yeah, I went from overthinking it to feeling comfortable using them.

I was actually kind of impressed by the selection at first, but that faded quick when every single thing I wanted was out of stock. Maybe that means the products are really good, I don’t know, but it’s hard to be excited when there’s nothing available to buy.

"Refurbished phone came in rough shape"
I bought a refurbished phone from musicMagpie and I wish I didn’t went for it. It was supposed to be in good condition, but when it arrived the screen had scratches all over it and the battery was draining so fast.
The charging port also feel loose, so it keeps cutting out unless I hold the cable at a certain angle. It just doesn’t seem like it was checked properly before they sent it. For the price, I was expecting much better.

Bought a used phone and the condition grade felt about right. It was listed as good, and yeah, there were a few light marks here and there, nothing more than I was expecting. No nasty surprises or anything like that, so all in all happy. Would’ve been 5 stars if the photos showed the exact marks a bit better

Overall, the selection is decent, and I can usually find something that works. Every now and then, though, the brand I’m looking for or some of the newer items just aren’t there. It’s not a huge deal, but it does make me realize how much I rely on having options when I’m trying to choose what feels right.

"Refund process felt way too slow"
The refund took much longer than I expected. I had to follow up twice before anything really seemed to move, and my gut feeling was that it wouldn’t have been handled unless I kept chasing it. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely frustrating.

My order went through without any issues and it did show up in the end, so overall it was okay. But I’ll be honest, the tracking didn’t feel very reassuring. My gut kept telling me something was stuck because the updates were slow and kind of vague, and for a couple of days I had no real idea where the package was. Nothing disastrous, but clearer communication would make the whole experience feel a lot smoother...

"Customer service has been really slow to respond"
I’m trying to be fair because I know support teams can get busy, but my experience hasn’t been great. I’ve been trying to get a clear answer from customer service, and the replies take a really long time, if they come at all. When they do respond, it doesn’t always address what I actually asked, so I’m still left waiting and unsure what’s happening. It’s frustrating.

"Postage was straightforward"
The free postage label was really handy and made sending it off easy enough. To be fair, the only thing that could’ve been better was the tracking, as the updates felt a bit slow to come through.

"Condition really wasn’t as described"
I ordered a phone that was listed as being in very good condition, but umm, it definitely didn’t feel that way when it arrived. There were loads of scratches, plus a mark on the screen, and the battery wasn’t great either. felt like the condition had just been guessed. I don’t think I’ll be using musicMagpie again...
